Alexes Haggins is an entrepreneur, author, speaker, and advocate whose life is a testament to resilience, faith, and the transformative power of healing. Her journey has not been without hardship. As a teenage mother, Alexes faced challenges that would shape her understanding of perseverance, responsibility, and unconditional love. Over the years, she navigated seasons of homelessness, depression, divorce, financial uncertainty, and profound grief, including the tragic loss of her children's father to violence. Additionally, her youngest child, a twin, was born with special needs. 

Determined not to let her circumstances dictate her future, Alexes embarked on a personal healing journey rooted in faith, forgiveness, and a deepening relationship with Jesus Christ. Through this process, she discovered the freedom that comes from confronting pain, breaking unhealthy patterns, and embracing God's purpose for her life.

Before becoming an entrepreneur, Alexes dedicated herself to serving others as a community service worker, assisting women in overcoming barriers such as homelessness, instability, and crisis. She later became a licensed real estate professional, leveraging her success for her lifelong dream - Flowers by Alexes.

Inspired by her father, Bernard Haggins, who owned a cherished neighborhood florist in Washington, D.C., Alexes fulfilled a promise made after his passing to reopen a flower shop in his honor. In 2021, she opened Flowers by Alexes on the same street where her father's business once thrived, continuing a family tradition and building her own legacy.
